Connect to nature and creativity as you learn to weave your first pine needle basket with the group of your choosing! Perfect for those looking to have a creative experience with friends or family. I will come to you to lead a class for your party or group.

I will attentively guide your group in:

• A visualization about pine trees to deepen your connection to the trees and ground into the senses

• Learning about Coast Salish basket traditions through visual learning and a short video

• Discussion of pine needle collection and storage as you prepare the pine needles for weaving

• Building basketry knowledge: learn the difference between coil and warp/weft baskets

• Learning all the skills you need to make your own basket
  

By the end of class, you will have completed your own basket! I will provide:

• An engaging and grounding learning experience, approximately 5 hours long

• All supplies

• Printed weaving summary for your future use

• A selection of curated videos for your future reference

• My presence in the location of your choosing

Investment:

• $800 for a party of 3 to 4 people

• $900 for a party of 5 to 6 people

• Additional $45 per hour spent driving to you, if you are located further than 5 miles outside of Seattle.

• 10% of profits are donated to Na’ah Illahee Fund
